oour favourite oolong tea in all of Taiwan!
this medium roast oolong comes from my dear friend Aaron, a third generation tea roaster in the centre of Taiwan. he and his family have long prided themselves for focussing on sourcing old tree material and producting in accordance to the manual modus of traditional oolong production.
to aaron, he feels this tea tastes of a christmas afternoon in taiwan, after everybody has eaten and people move in and out of sleep as the dense summer air begins to fill with rain.
this is a crown opening, well spirited tea, with perhaps some of the more depthful cha qi one may find in this genre of tea.
it tastes of spring flowers, with a delicate longan roast- making it an inviting tea to drink in transitional seasons.
