handwoven chabana vase

These are hand woven vases from the northern reaches of Vietnam, procured on my recent travels.

They are made from from scratch by our friend Ger and her family of the Black H’mong tribe in Hau Thao village. These are produced throughout emerging generations in the village to learn various weaving techniques.

Originally intended for collecting shrimp and storing grains, these are being up-cycled to home flowers intended for tea ceremony.
