in reciprocity to the might of our trees and the practices that come with tea, these pieces have been carved to last an age but it’s natural for wood to dry out through time, slowing down the drying out of these wood artefacts by working with ancient wood preservation practices and through its timeline caring for them by applying wood oils and waxes, as a result of the preservation technique the pieces are water resistant and washable, although avoid soaking in water for long periods. we trust that with the quality and care taken to piece together these artefacts that they will serve you and space greatly and for a long time to come.
