from the new collaboration between a space of subtle bodies and yizhi
from the jaws of the mouth of a river

this teapot has been handmade from yixing clay and woodfired by yizhi along the tranquil reaches of the chang river in jingdezhan, china. humbly taught and inspired by the natural world in conversation with sacred architectural ruin.

all artefacts from this collection are delicately handmade from aged zisha (purple sand) by yizhi, a local jingdezhan potter taught from a porcelain background. 
yizhi's take on yixing pottery exhibits an intricacy of form and function in remarkably unique ways. these pots are generously porous, hold impeccable heat and articulate the shape and nuance of tea in ways we rarely get to experience with teapots in this genre.
